After what looks to be a successful Facebook-based campaign to get Betty White on Saturday Night Live, 15-year-old tween heartthrob Justin Bieber is the latest celeb to land an SNL gig after a concerted social media effort. After the circulation of a number of online petitions and a @BieberonSNL Twitter movement, Rap-Up reported that Bieber will perform as the musical guest on the April 10 episode. Bieber, who confirmed the news on Twitter, offered the following idea for his episode: “Me and Chuck Norris should do SNL together. that would be good. very good.” Yikes.

Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers might not be nominated for a Grammy, but they’ll still be there.

The duo, plus Justin Bieber, among the announced presenters for the 2010 Grammy Awards along with Ke$ha and LL Cool J, MTV reports.

Also scheduled to present awards are When In Rome costars Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel plus musicians Norah Jones, Ricky Martin, and Carlos Santana.

The 2010 Grammy Awards will air live @8PM ET/PT on January 31 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will also feature performances from Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, and Lady Antebellum.

Justin on MTV’s Silent Library

Justin Bieber guest stars in the season premiere of MTV’s Silent Library, and let’s just say he can’t hold it down. The show challenges teams to keep quiet as each member is put under extreme circumstances. In Justin’s case, he has to drink a Chinese food smoothie that is anything but smooth.

Justin joins the likes of Forever the Sickest Kids, We the Kings and others in the second season of the laugh-inducing game show in which teams can walk away with a cash prize.
